Discover a truly festive Victorian Christmas at Gawthorpe Hall. The Hall will be trimmed with greenery and decorated in the style of the Victorian era, when the Royal family adopted many new traditions from Prince Albert’s homeland of Saxe-Coburg. The Dining room with be set for Christmas Dinner and Father Christmas will be here. There will be festive music and readings, children’s activities and the Housekeeper will be in the kitchen sharing the secrets of a great plum pudding. The Friend of Gawthorpe will also be here to sell their hand-made crafts and decorations.

There is no charge for this event but normal admission to Gawthorpe Hall applies – 6 adults, 4 concessions, accompanied children free, National Trust members free
